Our story

One simple truth started it all.

It really did start with a story and sips between a few friends. We'd dissect plot twists over coffee and debate character choices over wine. You know, the kind of conversations that make you lose track of time.

Then I moved countries, and suddenly I was that person googling "how to make friends as an adult." Turns out, building genuine friendships when you're not in school anymore is nobody's favorite topic, but it's a struggle that many of us deal with.

That's when it hit me: stories had always been my connection point. Not small talk about the weather, but real conversations about life—the good, bad, and the ugly. Whether I was bonding over a shared obsession or swapping stories about our latest horrible day at work, that's how I'd always made genuine connections.

Stories aren't just about books. They're about our experiences, our perspectives, and the moments that shape us. Sharing them is how we find our people.

Making friends as an adult is hard, but it doesn’t have to be.

Genuine connection doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty, empathy, and common ground. We want to create space for women to share their real stories, not just the highlight reel. Space where you can bond over a book that destroyed you just as much as a real-world experience that changed you.
