October book bingo: Spooky season reading challenge

October is the perfect month to lean into all things eerie, gothic, and magical. Whether you are already stacking your TBR with haunted houses and witchy reads, or just looking for an excuse to pick up something a little darker, I have made an October book bingo card to guide your reading this month.

The prompts are filled with seasonal fun. You will find blood on the cover, potions and curses, familiars, ghosts, and a touch of dark academia. You can use the bingo card as a way to choose your next read, track your progress, or challenge yourself to see how many squares you can fill before the end of the month.

How to play

  1. Save the bingo card (save the image in this post).

  2. Fill in your reads on the matching squares as you go.

  3. Play your way by aiming for a row, a blackout, or just dipping into a few prompts that catch your eye.

No pressure, just a fun way to mix up your reading list and join in on the October vibes.
